In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “the science of life”. According to the Ayurveda, every individual is both a creation of cosmic energies and a unique phenomenon. A unique personality.
Ayurveda is the art of daily living in harmony with the laws of nature, it is an ancient natural wisdom of health and healing. The aim of this ancient science is to maintain the health of a healthy person. Both healing and prevention are carried out by entirely natural means.
According to Ayurveda, health is a perfect state of balance among the body’s 3 fundamental energies or doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and equally vital balance among body, soul and consciousness.

Our Individual constitution remains fixed but constantly disrupted by numerous forces. Changes in age, changes in external environment, poor diet, our endless shifting thoughts, feelings and emotions, poor sleep, excess stress, insufficient exercise, and repressed emotions all impact our doshic balance resulting in disease or altered state.
